We are the FarmHouse Fraternity Chapter of Kansas State University
"Builders of Men" Since 1921
“Who We Are”
The Kansas State chapter of FarmHouse was chartered on June 2, 1921 making it the fifth chapter to be established. The Kansas State chapter was established by a group of agricultural students and faculty members who were associated with FarmHouse men from other universities. Their intent was to foster good fellowship and to advance scientific agriculture.
Recruitment at FarmHouse is a year-round process. We are always looking for men of character that will build our brotherhood for the years to come. We welcome on-campus students, college transfer students, and incoming freshman from any background or major. We have four recruitment weekends throughout the year. Our chapter is located just off the corner of Denison Avenue and College Heights Road. As being the 2nd closest fraternity to K-State's campus, most of our members do not park on campus, but park at FarmHouse and walk to campus. We are always welcoming to anyone who is interested in learning more about FarmHouse. Want to visit our chapter? Please click the button below!

Over the years, our chapter has had phenomenal house directors who have served our chapter, and taught us many things from dinner etiquette to how to properly ask a girl out on a date. For many of us, they are our "mom away from home," and they are always there for us to help us with whatever we may need. This year, we are privileged to have a new house director, Maybelle Mertz, and it has been an incredible opportunity to get to know her, and learn about her wisdom that she has gained throughout her life.
